Fishing-themed booze? Oh go on then…

Four specially-crafted single malts combine for Dalmore’s Rivers Collection, distilled to promote and protect Scotland’s greatest fishing rivers and make elderly men go all misty-eyed, not necessarily in that order.

Each whisky is dedicated to one of Scotland’s great rivers: the Dee, the Tay, the Tweed and the Spey.

Part of the money raised from the sale of each of these single malts goes towards conservation projects that will benefit all four rivers. Not that we need a good cause to drink with resolve and commitment but it undoubtedly helps.

Last year, the ‘pilot’ whisky, the Dee Dram, sold out in just over two months, raising £35,000 towards preserving the river.

Each sells for £40.
