Glacial waters are not to be messed with

It’s not the idea of waist-deep water suddenly dropping 80 feet that surprises me in this tragic tale of life lost in Scotland, it’s the fact that an inland water can have currents capable of dragging a man under and not letting go.

All water is potentially deadly, of course, but it strikes me that the Ice Age left behind some particularly nasty examples of the species. Proceed with extreme caution.
