Now this is the angler in me. Most people watch this Vodafone ad on the brief life of the mayfly and come away feeling a little more enlightened by what it teaches us about making the most of each moment.
Me? I come away exasperated because I was convinced the ad’s climax would see a trout rise and make sure the bug had even less time left than it thought.
But it doesn’t.
It’s an ad without closure.
Something is awry with the natural order of things.
So I’m staying with O2.
